Firstly, it is widely used in boiler, power generation, petroleum, chemical, synthetic fibre, food, paper and other industries. This steel plate is also widely used in large boiler superheater tubes, reheater tubes, steam pipes and heat exchangers in petrochemical industry.
Secondly, it has good resistance to intergranular corrosion and intergranular stress corrosion of polysulfuric acid due to the presence of the stabilising element Nb. This makes it resistant to corrosive media such as acids, alkalis and salts, thus extending the service life of the equipment.
In addition, because Nb is less susceptible to burnout than Ti, it can also be used as a welding core for welding chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels. This means that it is not only suitable for direct equipment manufacturing, but can also play a role in the repair and welding process.
